This committee evaluates the credentials and experience of all WPO practitioners and providers to ensure that they comply with WPO guidelines. In fulfilling its duties the committee: ï§ Assesses and re-assesses the credentials of practitioners and providers. ï§ Conducts peer review and approval of network status of practitioners and providers. ï§ Monitors any practitioner or provider placed on a corrective action plan by Network Operations to ensure compliance with the plan. ï§ Makes recommendations on content of credentialing policies and procedures for practitioners and providers. ï§ Investigates quality of care issues related to individual practitioners or providers and makes recommendations, as appropriate.
